The purpose of the Expo is to mobilize and facilitate African business relations within African communities locally, nationally and globally. The Expo also aims to encourage self-sufficiency and fight poverty in Africa, by developing and empowering positive economic growth through trade and industry. The first annual Expo — in association with Free Malaria — will be held September 13, 2013 at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City.
African Trade and Industry Expo 2013 will be the largest African event in world that is designed to promote African economic development. The Expo will offer companies large and small the opportunity to access our lucrative and often overlooked market. The African Cultural Center (ACC) will focus and contribute to the economic empowerment of the Africa community through the African Trade and Industry Expo. No other event will receive the same level of community small business and corporate participation. Primarily this event identifies strongly as a showcase for the African community as well as the children and adults who are products of the African Diaspora.

The Expo will also be a family affair between Africans and Africans Diaspora. The young and old will be attracted to this event with a demographic media age range breakdown from ages 25-50 yrs old. It is expected that this event will attract more than tens of thousands of people from around the world.
Not only will the entire African and Africans Diaspora community be attract to attend; but also all the business peoples round world efforts to target business for Africa continent.
Africa is in its best economic shape in comparison to past decades thanks to better business management and a booming demand for commodities. The president of the African development bank said Donald Kabenka, the regions economies last year grew at an average of 5.5 percent as a result of improved peace and stability. There have been better terms of trade, more responsible economic governance and a better business news climate for Africa.
