Our 2011 Capital Campaign Goal is to raise $180,000 to open a Free-Standing Multi-Disciplinary Center.

Since 2000, the African Cultural Center, Inc. has been providing educational, artistic and technical programs, as well as, opportunities and resources that incorporate the diverse cultures and history of Africa. The need for the thousands of African people and their children (of the 5 boroughs of New York), to have a place to regroup, reconnect, and represent themselves is vital. Africa is composed of 5 regions (North, East, South, West, and Center), and they are all represented in New York. By have a Free-Standing Center, the people can solidify themselves, and feel recconnected with their continent of Africa.
